Jennifer Woytach - Championships and Media Relations Assistant

Jen Woytach

Jennifer Woytach joined the NESCAC in September of 2012 as Championships and Media Relations Assistant. Woytach assists with all aspects of conference operations in the newly created position.

Prior to joining the NESCAC staff, Woytach served as Assistant Director of Athletics at Notre Dame of Maryland University. While at Notre Dame, she oversaw game operations, non-conference scheduling, team transportation and student personnel. She was a member of the Colonial States Athletic Conference’s (CSAC) Game Management Review Committee, spearheaded the revision of several of Notre Dame’s departmental policies and assisted with the annual end of year banquet and Hall of Fame induction.

In addition to her administrative duties, Woytach was also the Sports Information Director for the Gators’ eight varsity teams, coordinating statistics and reports for the CSAC and NCAA. She attended the NCAA/NACWAA Institute for Administrative Advancement in July.

Before her time in Baltimore, Woytach spent two years as a Graduate Assistant  at Springfield College. While at Springfield, she oversaw the department’s annual golf tournament, assisted with operations of the 2010 NCAA Division III Women’s Volleyball Regional and served as site administrator for numerous regular season and postseason events. She also assisted in all areas of compliance and coordinated marketing and promotions for home events.

In 2010, Woytach served as an intern at Westfield State University, assisting in areas of game management, sports information and compliance.

Woytach began her career in athletic administration through a position created by the Division III Ethnic Minority and Women’s Internship program. From 2007-09, she was the Assistant to the Director of Athletics and Assistant Field Hockey/Lacrosse Coach at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pa. She oversaw uniform and equipment distribution and collection, assisted in game day operations, coordinated non-conference schedules and set all department travel arrangements. Woytach implemented the launch of Cedar Crest’s CHAMPS/Life Skills Program while also  supervising work study students and monitoring compliance. During that time, she served as Co-Advisor to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). In 2009, Woytach was awarded the Black and Gold Award for commitment and dedication to the Department of Athletics.

A native of northeastern Pennsylvania, Woytach earned a bachelor of arts degree in Communication/English from Cedar Crest in 2007. She was a four-year member of the Falcons’ field hockey and lacrosse teams, serving as field hockey captain during her senior season. Woytach earned Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) All-Academic Team honors eight times. She was also a two-time PAC Sportsmanship Team selection.

Woytach is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Athletic Administration from Springfield. She resides in Easthampton, Mass.
