CLINTON, N.Y. - The Hamilton College men's basketball team remained busy after the end of the 2016-17 season as they participated in a pair of community service events earlier this spring.
Members of both the men's and women's basketball programs hosted a Special Olympics Basketball Clinic inside Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House.
A few days later, several Hamilton men's basketball student-athletes took part in the Oneida County Youth Bureau and Office for the Aging and Continuing Care's ninth annual Spring Intergenerational Clean Up. The initiative brings together youth from area schools, colleges and youth organizations to provide general yard clean-up services for seniors citizens. Services included raking leaves, sweeping porches, sidewalks and driveways, and bringing refuse to the curb for senior citizen households.
