Tortorella Named Associate Men's Ice Hockey Head Coach at New Hampshire
DURHAM, N.H. – Dick Umile, head coach of the University of New Hampshire men's hockey team, has announced the hiring of Jim Tortorella as associate head coach of the program. Tortorella comes to New Hampshire after a 16-year stint as head coach at Colby College, where he led the Mules to an impressive 230-138-33 record in that span and leaves his mark as the program's all-time leader in career wins.

Spicer Promoted to Head Softball Coach at Hamilton
CLINTON, N.Y. – Bill Spicer, the assistant softball coach at Hamilton College the past two years, has been selected the program's head coach. Spicer is the seventh head softball coach since Hamilton made it a varsity sport in 1985. He served as an assistant under Tracy Coffman in 2010 and 2011. He has been an assistant football coach at the College since 2006, and was on the track and field coaching staff from 2007 to 2009.

Hamilton Names Stockwell as New Men's Basketball Head Coach
CLINTON, N.Y. – Adam Stockwell, most recently the head men's basketball coach at SUNY Oswego, has been selected to fill the same position at Hamilton College. Stockwell -- the ninth head coach in Hamilton men's basketball history -- guided Oswego and Clarkson University to one NCAA Division III championship appearance apiece in seven seasons as head coach at those schools. He succeeds Tobin Anderson, who joined the Siena College men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant with the Division I program in May.

CLINTON, N.Y. – Rob Haberbusch, the associate head men's ice hockey coach at the U.S. Military Academy (Army) since 2008, has been selected the sixth head coach in Hamilton College men's ice hockey program history. Haberbusch succeeds Norm Bazin, who was named head coach at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell for its NCAA Division I program in late April after three seasons at Hamilton.

Hansen comes to Middlebury from the University of California Santa Cruz, where he has served as the head men’s coach for the past 30 years. Hansen succeeds Rob Barr, who was interim head coach of the Middlebury men’s team for the 2010-2011 season.

Smith Named Head Coach of Bowdoin Men's Tennis
BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Conor Smith as head coach of the men's tennis program. A two-time conference coach of the year at Bridgewater (Va.) College, Smith replaces Colin Joyner, who stepped down this spring after six years at the helm of the Polar Bears.
