Christy Jewett
Bowdoin College
First Year • Middle Blocker • Sunnyvale, Calif.
Jewett boosted the Polar Bears to a perfect 3-0 week with her
outstanding play in the middle. The rookie racked up 3.27 kills per
game and posted a hitting percentage of .333 to go with eight
blocks. She was at her best on Friday, when she racked up 14 kills
and six blocks in Bowdoin’s 3-1 triumph over Amherst. Jewett
followed that up with a 15-kill performance in a 3-1 win over
Trinity on Saturday. Bowdoin wrapped up the week with an overall
record of 7-0.

Hadley Duncan
Trinity College
Senior • Forward • Rye, N.Y.
Duncan scored three times in a pair of NESCAC victories for the
undefeated Bantams. The forward was at her best in a 3-1 triumph
over Williams on Saturday. After breaking a scoreless tie with 3:30
remaining in the first half, she put her team up 2-0 in the early
stages of the second. Duncan also scored a goal in her team’s
2-0 victory at Bates on Sunday.

Alvand Hajizadeh
Middlebury College
Senior • Midfielder • Williamstown, Mass.
Hajizadeh knocked in three game-winners in a perfect 3-0 week for
the Panthers. The midfielder scored what proved to be the winner
7:02 into Middlebury’s 2-0 victory over Norwich on Tuesday.
He followed that up with a golden goal in his team’s
thrilling 1-0 overtime triumph at Colby on Saturday. Hajizadeh
closed out his outstanding week by scoring the lone goal in the
Panthers’ 1-0 win at Plymouth State on Sunday.

| Women's Soccer Player of the

Alex Rimmer
Hamilton College
Senior • Forward • Rye, N.Y.
Rimmer registered five points on two goals and an assist in a 3-0
week for the undefeated Continentals. The forward was at her best
on Saturday, when she scored both goals in her team’s 2-1
triumph over Connecticut College. Her second tally in the 64th
minute proved to be the winner. Rimmer also assisted on the
game-winning goal in Hamilton’s 1-0 overtime victory at
Wesleyan on Sunday.

| Men's Cross Country Performer of the
Week |

Greg Turissini
Amherst College
Sophomore • Maumee, Ohio
Turissini took home seventh place at the Minuteman Invitational on
Saturday, completing the 8,000-meter course in 24:38.09. The
sophomore helped the Lord Jeffs to a fourth place showing at the
meet, which was hosted by the University of Massachusetts.

| Women's Cross Country Performer of the

Addie Tousley
Middlebury College
Senior • Kensington, Md.
Tousley propelled the Panthers to a first place showing out of six
teams at the Aldrich Invitational on Saturday. The senior completed
the 5,000-meter course in 18:13 to secure first place overall. She
won the race by 23 seconds.
