Rachel Schroff
Connecticut College
Senior • Right Side Hitter • Palos Verdes,
Calif.
Schroff averaged 4.43 kills and 3.14 digs per set in a 1-1 week
for the Camels. The right side hitter posted a hitting percentage
of .351 while committing just four errors in 77 attempts. She set
the tone in her team’s 3-0 triumph over Bowdoin on Saturday,
collecting 12 kills, seven assists, four service aces, five digs
and a pair of blocks. With their win, the Camels ended
Bowdoin’s 40-match home winning streak. Schroff was also
impressive in a 3-1 setback at Tufts on Friday, when she posted a
double-double on 19 kills and 17 digs.

Kelsey Perkins
Tufts University
Senior • Forward • Barrington, R.I.
Perkins scored four times in a perfect 2-0 week for the Jumbos.
The forward erupted for three goals in her team’s thrilling
4-3 overtime win over Amherst on Saturday. Tufts trailed 2-1 in the
contest before Perkins reeled off a pair of unanswered tallies in
the second half. She also scored in a 3-1 victory over the
University of New England on Wednesday. The Jumbos have won seven
games in a row.

| Men's Soccer Player of the

Gus Santos
Tufts University
Sophomore • Midfielder • Framingham, Mass.
Santos scored a goal and assisted on another in the first half of
the Jumbos’ 4-0 victory over Bates on Sunday. The midfielder
found the back of the net for what proved to be the winner 10:49
into the contest. Santos then added an assist in the 32nd minute to
put things out of reach. His team’s four goals were their
most in a league game since a 5-0 win against Bowdoin in
2006.

| Women's Soccer Player of the

Abbey Lake
Trinity College
First Year • Forward • Westport, Conn.
Lake racked up seven points in a 1-1 week for the Bantams. The
forward was at her best on Saturday, when she recorded her first
career hat trick in a 3-1 win at Colby. In the process, she tied
the program record for goals in a game. Lake also posted an assist
in a 3-1 loss at Amherst on Thursday. It was the first goal allowed
by the Lord Jeffs this season.

Zach Driscoll
Middlebury College
Senior • Wide Receiver • Concord, Mass.
Driscoll caught four touchdown passes to lead Middlebury to a
42-13 triumph at Colby on Saturday. The senior finished the day
with 11 receptions for 128 yards for the Panthers, who moved to 2-0
on the year. Three of Driscoll's scores came in the pivotal third
quarter, when his team outscored the Mules 21-0 to create
separation. His dominant performance included touchdown catches of
eight, 23 and three yards. Driscoll also hauled in a four-yard
score late in the first quarter.

Joe Dell’Erario
Bates College
Senior • Linebacker • Weston, Mass.
Dell’Erario amassed a career-best seven tackles in the
Bobcats’ 31-23 victory at Tufts on Saturday. The linebacker
broke the game wide open in the waning minutes of the first half,
when he returned an interception 60 yards for a touchdown to put
his team in front 21-3. Dell’Erario added a sack and pass
breakup in the contest. Bates moved to 1-1 with the win.

Kyle Gibson
Wesleyan University
Sophomore • Running Back • Ridgewood, N.J.
Gibson exploded for 244 yards rushing on 35 carries in
Wesleyan’s 34-14 victory over Hamilton on Saturday. The
running back scored the go-ahead touchdown midway through the third
quarter to give the Cardinals their first lead of the day (13-7).
His 67-yard dash late in the fourth quarter set up his team’s
final score from three yards out. Gibson was making his first
collegiate start. His yardage totals were the second most in
program history.

Joe Mallock
Williams College
Junior • Kicker/Punter • West Orange, N.J.
Mallock converted field goals of 34 and 43 yards in the
Ephs’ heartbreaking 17-13 loss to Trinity on Saturday. The
junior punted five times for an average of 43.4 yards, including a
career-best 56-yard boot. He kicked off four times with one
touchback. Mallock also earned Special Team Player of the Week
honors last week.
