Hannah Brickley
Trinity College
Junior • Outside Hitter • Melrose, Mass.
Brickley piled up 4.71 kills and 3.57 digs in a perfect 2-0 week
for the Bantams. The outside hitter recorded a hitting percentage
of .364 and also added two aces and a pair of blocks. She was at
her best in her team’s 3-0 triumph at Bates on Friday, when
she posted a double-double on 17 kills and 16 digs. Brickley
followed that up with 16 kills and nine digs in a 3-1 win at Colby
on Saturday.

Lauren Greer
Middlebury College
Senior • Forward • North Hampton, N.H.
Greer racked up 12 points in a perfect 2-0 week for the undefeated
Panthers. The forward scored her 100th career goal to go with a
pair of assists in her team’s 4-0 win at Williams on
Wednesday. She then exploded for four more goals in
Middlebury’s 7-0 victory over Connecticut College in the
quarterfinal round of the NESCAC Championship on Saturday. Greer is
the national leader in scoring with 31 goals, 13 assists and 75
points on the season.

Scott Blumenthal
Tufts University
Senior • Midfielder • Simsbury, Conn.
Blumenthal led the Jumbos to a pair of wins over Bowdoin with his
impressive work on the offensive end of the field. The midfielder
was at his best on Saturday, when he scored two goals in his
team’s 3-0 triumph over the Polar Bears in the quarterfinal
round of the NESCAC Championship. Four days earlier, he sent home
the winner with just under seven minutes remaining in regulation to
lead Tufts to a 2-1 win. The Jumbos will be playing in the NESCAC
semifinals for the first time since 2001.

Jamie Hofstetter
Bowdoin College
First Year • Midfielder • Chester, N.J.
Hofstetter tied a NESCAC Championship record with three goals, as
the Polar Bears topped Hamilton 3-2 in the quarterfinal round on
Saturday. After a scoreless first half, the midfielder scored twice
in a span of 2:08 early in the second period to give her team a 2-0
edge. She then notched an insurance goal in the 66th minute to
round out the hat trick. The goal proved to be crucial, as Hamilton
found the back of the net again in the 87th minute.

| Football Offensive Player of the

Ben Crick
Trinity College
Junior • Running Back • Middlebury, Conn.
Crick came up with a dominant performance in the Bantams’
45-7 triumph over previously unbeaten Middlebury on Saturday. The
running back was nearly unstoppable on the ground, rushing 12 times
for 158 yards (13.2 yards per carry). In addition to his touchdown
runs of 49 and 66 yards, Crick also turned a screen pass into a
40-yard score. With its win, Trinity gained sole possession of
first place in the NESCAC standings with a perfect 6-0 record.

| Football Defensive Player of the

Jake Bussani
Wesleyan University
Junior • Defensive Back • Pleasanton,
Calif.
Bussani accounted for half of the Cardinals’ six takeaways
in their 34-14 victory over Bowdoin on Saturday. In addition to
intercepting a pair of passes, the defensive back also recovered a
fumble on a muffed punt and made three tackles. All three of his
takeaways led to scores for Wesleyan, which moved into a three-way
tie for second place in the NESCAC standings with a record of 5-1.
Bussani also earned Player of the Week honors on September 23.

| Football Special Teams Player of the
Week |

Darren Hartwell
Williams College
Senior • Wide Receiver • North Reading,
Mass.
Hartwell accounted for 297 all-purpose yards in the Ephs’
34-26 win at Hamilton on Saturday. He racked up 138 yards on three
kick returns, including a 90-yard scamper for a touchdown on the
game’s opening play. Hartwell also added 73 yards on four
punt returns, with a long of 30. The senior made an impact on the
offensive side of the ball, catching six passes for 86 yards. His
38-yard touchdown reception gave him 19 in his career, a new
Williams record.
