Beatrice Gratry, Trinity College

Beatrice Gratry '05 is Trinity's recipient of the Trinity Club of Hartford Trophy as the College's Most Outstanding Senior Female Athlete.  Gratry, a studio arts major at Trinity, was a multi-sport athlete who competed in four years of lacrosse and one year of field hockey at Trinity.

Lacrosse is her great love, and she has established herself as the most prolific scorer in Bantam history in that sport. She was consistently named to the All-NESCAC, All-New England, and All-ECAC All-Star teams, and was a two-time All-American. She was selected NESCAC Player of the Week at least once during each of her four years.

A formidable offensive force at attack, Gratry led the Bantams in scoring in each of her four varsity seasons, setting new Trinity records for goals (233) and total points (287).  She was elected as lacrosse co-captain in 2005 and led the Bantams to the post-season three times.  An accomplished artist, Gratry earned a 3.28 G.PA and received faculty honors.
