Mike Hayes is a two-time member of the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. He made the all-NESCAC First Team as a junior in 2006 when he finished third as an individual at the NESCAC championship. Mike earned a spot on the all-conference Second Team in 2005 when he tied for 11th place. He also finished 11th overall in 2004, but only the top 10 individuals made the all-conference team that year. In 2007, Mike helped Hamilton advance to the four-team conference championship as the Continentals placed fourth at the first-ever NESCAC championship qualifier, which was held at Hamilton's Skenandoa Golf Club.
