BJ Lalonde was a four-year letter winner for
the men's ice hockey team. Lalonde was named to the 2009-10 NESCAC
All Conference Second Team, and was a two-time member of the NESCAC
Winter All-Academic Team. He finished his 97-game career with seven
goals and 30 assists. The 6-foot, 2-inch defenseman was an
assistant captain in 2010-11, when he helped lead Hamilton to the
No. 1 seed in the NESCAC championship for the first time in the
12-year history of the event.
The dual major in economics and French was the men's ice hockey
team's recipient of Hamilton's 2012 SAAC scholar-athlete award for
his dedication and loyalty to both academics and athletics. The
award recipients maintain an outstanding cumulative grade point
average and make a significant contribution to their team.
Lalonde is from Pointe Claire, Quebec, and attended Phillips Exeter
Academy in Exeter, N.H.
