Gina Dinallo, Trinity College
Gina Dinallo was a biology major at Trinity
College, where she served as captain of the field hockey team for
four years and as goalkeeper for the Bantam lacrosse team for three
springs. She is a three-time NESCAC All-Academic honoree for field
hockey and lacrosse and an annual member of the field hockey and
lacrosse coaches' association all-academic teams
On the field, Dinallo held her own with the best. A three-time
All-NESCAC and all-regional selection and a two-time All-American,
Dinallo totaled 78 saves for an .821 save percentage and a 1.04 GAA
in the cage in 2011, both marks good for 13th in the nation.
The 2009 NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year and National
All-Rookie Team selection in her first year in 2008, Dinallo led
her team to victory in a National Senior All-Star Game with a 1-0
shutout victory to close her career with an exclamation point.
She finishes her playing days with 77 goals allowed for a 1.20 GAA
and 388 saves for a .834 save percentage, to go along with a 42-20
record (2nd all-time at Trinity in wins) and 13 shutouts in 66
games.
Dinallo was also a goalkeeper for the Bantam lacrosse team for
three springs, before calling an end to that career to concentrate
on her studies and prepare for an anticipated acceptance into
veterinary school.
