2013 NESCAC Baseball Championship

 Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12

Format

The top two teams in each division shall qualify for the NESCAC Baseball Championship. The double elimination Championship will be hosted by the West Division winner beginning Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12. The tournament champion will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.

Selection

Pairings will be announced at the conclusion of the regular season. The top two teams in each division shall qualify for the tournament and will be selected on the basis of the following criteria:

1. NESCAC divisional games won
2. NESCAC divisional winning percentage
3. Head-to-head results
4. Overall winning percentage
5. Coin flip

Tournament Schedule (Two Field Format)

Day 1 - Friday, May 10
Game 1: Wesleyan (W1) vs. Bowdoin (E2) - Andrus Field - Middletown, Conn. - 2:30 p.m. 
Game 2: Trinity (E1) vs. Amherst - Beehive Field - New Britain, Conn. - 3:00 p.m.

Day 2 - Saturday, May 11
Game 3: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 (10:30 a.m. -  Beehive Field - New Britain, Conn.)
Game 4: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2 (10:30 a.m. - Andrus Field - Middletown, Conn.)
Game 5: Winner Game 3 vs. Loser Game 4 (2:30 p.m. - Andrus Field - Middletown, Conn.)

Day 3 - Sunday, May 12
Game 6: Winner Game 4 vs. Winner Game 5 (10:00 a.m. - Andrus Field - Middletown, Conn.)

If necessary, game 7 shall be played 30 minutes after conclusion of game 6 with the same two teams.
