NEW LONDON, Conn. Chris OBrien has been named the interim head coach of the mens and womens tennis programs at Connecticut College. OBrien spent the previous six years as the mens and womens tennis coach at Roger Williams University, where he serves as the director of study advocacy. Prior to coaching at Roger Williams, OBrien was the head mens tennis coach at the University of Rochester, his alma mater.
MOBILE, Ala. The Middlebury mens doubles team of Andrew Thomson (W. Bloomfield, Mich.) and Andrew Lee (Eden Prairie, Minn.) have captured the ITA Small College National Championship. The duo qualified after winning the ITA New England Regional earlier this fall, competing in the eight-team bracket at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama. Thomson/Lee defeated their opponents from Emory 6-1, 2-6, 7-6 (5).
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Williams College athletic director Harry Sheehy announced today that former Eph standout Dan Greenberg 08 has been named to succeed Dave Donn as the head coach of the Eph mens tennis team. Arguably one of the youngest mens head tennis coaches in NCAA play, Greenberg will coach three current Ephs who were his teammates during his playing days in seniors Nick Lebedoff and Jeremy Weinberger, and junior Ari Binder.

HADLEY, Mass. - Twelve men's tennis players came away with All-America honors on Monday, it was announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Of the 12 individuals honored, six were for singles play while four doubles teams were recognized, a total of eight players.
CLAREMONT, Calif. - Bates College pair Ben Stein and Amrit Rupasinghe defeated rival Bowdoin College's duo Jamie Neely and Oscar Pena 6-4, 5-7, 6-4 for the NCAA Men's Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday night at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
