MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The start time for Game 7 of the 2008 NESCAC Softball Championship, originally scheduled for 11:00 a.m., has been moved to 12:00 p.m., in order to allow for the best playing conditions possible and no interruptions. The winner of today's game will win the 2008 NESCAC Softball Championship and receive an automatic berth in the upcoming NCAA Softball Tournament.

Sunday's Game 7 is only the second in championship history, with the previous Game 7 occuring during the 2003 tournament. Wesleyan looks to become the first team in playoff history to lose on the first day and come back to win the NESCAC title.

Complete results will be available at www.nescac.com at the completion of today's game. Fans unable to attend this weekend’s action will be able to follow all three games live via the Internet thanks to Wesleyan ITS.
