Williams to Host Softball Championship

HADLEY, Mass. – Williams College will host the 2010 NESCAC Softball Championship, as the Ephs claimed the top seed in the West Division with a win in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader series with Amherst. Joining Williams will be Bowdoin, Wesleyan, and three-time defending NESCAC champion Tufts. The tournament will take place next weekend, starting Friday, May 7 with two games and ends on Sunday, May 9.

The Jumbos have won six NESCAC titles overall, while the Ephs have three conference crowns to their credit. The Cardinals have finished as the runner-up to the Jumbos in each of the last two years, and the Polar Bears are back in the NESCAC championship for the first time since 2004.
