Trinity Wins Sixth Men Squash Title

HARTFORD, Conn. - Trinity College won its sixth consecutive
conference crown on Sunday afternoon with a convincing 9-0 victory
over Williams in the final of the 2012 NESCAC Men's Squash
Championship.
The top-seeded Bantams have won the annual conference tournament every year it has been held. The second-seeded Ephs finished as the runner-up for the sixth year in a row. During Sunday's final, Trinity swept six of the nine matches in three games.
The fifth and sixth ladder matches were the closest of the meeting. Trinity's Vishrab Kotian recovered from a 2-1 deficit to Alex Greaves-Tunnell of Williams to win 3-2, taking the final two matches 11-6 and 11-8. In the sixth spot, the Bantams' Juan Flores built a 2-0 lead before the Ephs' Julian Drobetsky recovered to tie the match at 2-2. Flores took the final game 11-9.
Third-seeded Middlebury claimed third place with a 6-3 win over fourth-seeded Bates.
