2006-07 NESCAC Men's Swimming & Diving All-Conference Team Announced

HADLEY, Mass. - The NESCAC announced today the 2006-07 Men's Swimming and Diving All-Conference Team. The top three finishers in each event at the 2007 NESCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championship receive All-Conference recognition.

Williams senior Steve Spinelli (Longmeadow, Mass.) earned Swimmer of the Meet honors for the first time in his career after a brilliant performance at the 2007 NESCAC Men's Swimming and Diving Championship last weekend. Spinelli placed first in the 500, 1,000 and 1,650-yard Freestyle events and helped the Ephs' 400 and 800-yard Freestyle Relay teams to victory as Williams swept the relay events at the 2007 championship en route to a fifth consecutive NESCAC title. Spinelli also received Four-Year High Point Swimmer for the performance over his career. Middlebury freshman Brooks Farrar (Medfield, Mass.) came away with Diver of the Meet accolades with first place showings in both the 1 and 3-Meter Dives. Williams senior Tim Nolan (Deerfield, Mass.) earned Four-Year High Point Diver honors.

Williams head coach Steven Kuster earned Swimming Coach of the Year honors. Kuster, who received Women's Swimming Co-Coach of the Year recognition this season, last earned Men's Coach of the Year in 2001. Middlebury's Lisa Gibbs came away with Diving Coach of the Year.
