"I'm honored to come to a great school with high-quality and
hard-working student-athletes," McNamara said. "The program has a
strong foundation, and I hope to pick up where coach Knight left
off. I'm looking forward to getting on campus, meeting the team and
getting started."

"Emily has experienced great success, not only as a coach in the
NESCAC, but as a student-athlete, as well," Director of Athletics
Jon Hind '80 said. "We're excited about the level
of energy, enthusiasm and knowledge for women's ice hockey that she
brings to Hamilton."
As a senior, McNamara served as a team captain and earned a spot
