Bowdoin Downs Vassar 5-2 in NCAA Women's Tennis Tournament

AMHERST, Mass. - The Bowdoin College women's tennis team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to sweep singles play and take a 5-2 win over Vassar in an NCAA Tournament Second-Round match on Saturday afternoon. The Polar Bears (13-7) advance to play Amherst in the Regional Final on Sunday at noon. If poor weather persists, the match will be played at Mount Holyoke College.
Trailing after Vassar claimed two of three doubles matches, Bowdoin won the first four singles matches to clinch the win. Kristen Raymond, Sarah D'Elia, Kaitlin Raymond and Brett Davis each earned victories to seal the win.
