Amherst Women, Williams Men Win Cross Country Championships

Lord Jeff Women, Eph Men Repeat as Champions

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Amherst claimed its second-straight NESCAC Women's Cross Country title on Saturday afternoon, while Williams also earned its second-consecutive NESCAC Men's Cross Country crown and 10th in program history at the 2007 NESCAC Cross Country Championships at Mt. Greylock High School.

On a rain-soaked Saturday afternoon, Amherst came away with its second-consecutive NESCAC title with 37 points, placing four runners in the top 10 with senior harrier Heather Wilson (Danvers, Mass.) finishing the 6-kilometer race first with a time of 21:56.67.
