Kosgey, Williams (Senior - Eldoret River Valley, Kenya) Kosgey narroly won the NCAA New England Region Championship over Amehrst’s Daniel Murner, as both runners were timed in 25:16. Kosgey helped his squad capture first place at the regional meet and guaranteed the Ephs a spot in this weekend’s NCAA Championship. |

Neville was the top NESCAC runner at the NCAA New England Regional Championship this past Saturday at Southern Maine, finishing second overall with a time of 21:39 on the 6-kilometer course. Neville led the Cardinals to a fifth-place finish and an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships. |

Brecher, Bates (Senior - Waban, Mass.) Brecher was the top NESCAC runner at the 2009 ECAC Championships hosted by Williams over the weekend, placing third overall out of 296 runners with a time of 26:48.0. The Bobcats finished the meet in third place with 101 points. |

Lange, Middlebury (First Year - Brattleboro, Vt.) Lange was the top NESCAC finisher at the 2009 ECAC Championships hosted by Williams on Saturday. Lange finished the 6-kilometer course in 22:55.7, just four seconds behind the top finisher. Her performance helped the Panthers to a first place showing with 37 points. |

Kosgei, Hamilton (Senior - Kapsabet, Kenya) Kosgei won his third consecutive NESCAC cross country championship on Sunday at Wickham Park, completing the course in 25:40. He is the second individual to win three-straight titles and the third person to win three during their career. Hamilton finished the 2009 NESCAC Championship in seventh place (176). |

Galleher, Amherst (Senior - Denver, Colo.) Galleher won the 2009 NESCAC individual title by just one second, finishing the 6-kilometer course in 21:39 on Sunday afternoon at Wickham Park. Galleher and the Jeffs came in third (71) at the 11-team meet. |

Gravel, Colby (Senior - Peabody, Mass.) Gravel set a course record en route to winning the Maine State Cross Country Championship with a time of 18:59.50 over the 5-kilometer course. The performance helped the Mules win their 10th state title and fifth in the last six years. |

Kosgei, Hamilton (Senior - Kapsabet, Kenya) Kosgei placed fourth overall in the Gold Race at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh on Friday. His time of 23:42, which broke his career mark set at the 2007 NCAA regional by 36 seconds, was two seconds behind the winner. It was also the fifth-fastest time ever run on the course. |
