Connecticut College's Taylor Named to CoSIDA Academic All-America Team
NEW LONDON, Conn. – Connecticut College senior Kelsey Taylor (East Hampton, Conn.) has been named to the Capital One Academic All-America Women's Cross Country/Track & Field Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Taylor earned third team accolades in the College Division.

Middlebury Women's Cross Country Earns Scholar Team Award from USTFCCCA
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The women’s cross country team at Middlebury College is the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Women’s Scholar Team of the Year for the 2010 cross country season as announced Thursday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Middlebury, who have now won the award for the third time in five years, picked up their sixth NCAA title in the sport this fall.

Gossels of Williams Named Scholar-Athlete of the Year by USTFCCCA
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Jennifer Gossels of Williams College was named the Division III Women’s Scholar Athlete of the Year for the 2010 cross country season on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Gossels was the second-place individual finisher at the 2010 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships in November and won individual honors at the 2010 NESCAC Women's Cross Country Championship.

Four Runners Receive All-America from USTFCCA; Middlebury's Aldrich Earns National Women's Coach of the Year
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced All-America honors for the 2010 season, with four individuals from the NESCAC receiving recognition. Overall finish at the NCAA Championships is the determining factor as the top 35 individuals from both men’s and women’s races earn All-America plaudits from the USTFCCCA. In addition, Middlebury head coach Terry Aldrich claimed women's cross country coach of the year following the Panthers' NCAA championship victory.

Middlebury Women Win NCAA Cross Country Championship
WAVERLY, Iowa – The Middlebury women's cross country team won its sixth NCAA championship on Saturday, the 31st for the College since 1995. Panther head coach Terry Aldrich ends his 36-year career in style, going out as a national champion. Races were held at Wartburg College in Iowa. The Middlebury women previously won NCAA crowns in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2006 and 2008. On the men's side, Williams College was the top NESCAC team, coming in 18th overall.

Middlebury Women Win NCAA Cross Country Regional Title
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – NESCAC Women's Cross Country champion Middlebury College will make its 15th consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championship after the Panthers won the regional title on Saturday at Mt. Greylock High School hosted by Williams. On the men's side, Williams came in second behind winner MIT, while Middlebury placed fourth.

Cross Country All-Conference Teams Released
HADLEY, Mass. – Senior Peter Kosgei (Kapsabet, Kenya) of Hamilton and Williams sophomore Jennifer Gossels (Sudbury, Mass.) claimed NESCAC Most Outstanding Performer honors following the 2010 NESCAC Cross Country Championships hosted by Hamilton College on Saturday, Oct. 30. The two harriers posted first place performances to earn medalist honors at the championship.

Middlebury Sweeps, Wins Men's & Women's Cross Country Titles
CLINTON, N.Y. – Middlebury College swept the field at the 2010 NESCAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Hamilton College. The Panthers' men's squad captured its first-ever NESCAC title, scoring 78 points to overcome four-time defending champ Williams. On the women's side, Middlebury won for a third-straight time, as the Panthers scored a championship-record 26 points with five runners in the top 10.

Cross Country Championships Set for Saturday
HADLEY, Mass. – The 2010 NESCAC Cross Country Championships will be held this Saturday, Oct. 30, on the campus of Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y. The 28th edition of the annual conference meet will begin at 12:00 p.m. with the men’s 8-kilometer race and will be followed at 1:00 p.m. by the women’s 6-kilometer race.

Williams to Host 2010 NCAA Cross Country Regional
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. Williams College will host the New England NCAA Regional race at the Ephs' home course at nearby Mt. Greylock High School on Saturday, November 13. Every step on both the men's and women's courses at Mt. Greylock will be on grass or mountain trials.
