Moser homered twice and had five RBIs as Tufts went 3-0 at the NESCAC Championship to win its fourth title. His two-run home run in the bottom of the fifth against Amherst tied the game at 4-4. He also had an RBI single in the first to give Tufts a 1-0 lead. In the top of the eighth against Wesleyan on Saturday with Tufts leading 2-1, Moser walked and scored for a 3-1 advantage. He also made two tremendous defensive plays against Wesleyan, including throwing out the potential tying-run at the plate on an outfield relay in the seventh. He then capped the weekend with a two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth in the final against Trinity. He had led off the third with a double and scored, putting Tufts up 3-1 at the time.

Kinney did not allow an earned run in 5.1 innings over two relief appearances at the NESCAC Championship. He entered a 4-4 game against Amherst in the top of the sixth, and allowed just two hits and no runs in three innings. The Jumbos scored in the bottom of the seventh to win 5-4, with Kinney earning the decision. He also picked a runner off of first to end the Amherst eighth. Against Trinity on Sunday, he entered in the middle of a Bantam rally in the seventh and got the third out. He allowed one hit and an unearned run in 2.1 innings to finish off the championship victory.
