Riopel helped the Mammoths clinch the No. 1 seed in the NESCAC Championship with a pair of wins over Williams and Middlebury. He averaged 18.0 points per game over the final two games of the weekend, while also grabbing 7.5 rebounds and dishing out 2.0 assists per game. He shot 54.5 percent from the field in the wins and was perfect from the free throw line (9-for-9) against Middlebury.

Hackley averaged 14.5 points, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game, while shooting 70.5 percent from the field in two NESCAC victories last week as the Mammoths closed out a perfect regular season for the second straight year. Amherst is the No. 1 seed in the upcoming NESCAC Women’s Basketball Championship.

Dachille scored a hat trick on Saturday as the Polar Bears earned a win and a tie at Connecticut College last weekend. After a 1-1 tie on Friday night, Dachille rallied the Polar Bears to a win on Saturday, netting the game-tying goal in the second period and the eventual third period game-winner in a 5-4 victory.
