Morgan went 38-for-49 in the faceoff circle in a pair of games, including Trinity’s first conference win of the season, a 16-11 victory over Bowdoin. Against the Polar Bears, Morgan was 21-of-27 at the dot and helped the Bantams jump out to a 5-0 lead after winning the game’s first five faceoffs. He also added a goal and an assist in the team’s 23-4 win over Wheaton earlier and collected 30 ground balls in the two games.
Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

Denious scored seven goals, including four in the final 11:03, to lead the Polar Bears from a three-goal deficit to a 17-15 victory over Trinity. She also had six draw controls and two caused turnovers in the victory. Denious has totaled 16 goals, three assists and 10 draw controls in the last three games for Bowdoin.
Baseball Player of the Week

Schaffer batted .542, with five multi-hit games, and slugged .667 in a 7-0 week for the Ephs. He knocked out 13 hits, drove in 13 runs and scored seven times. In a win over St. Olaf he tripled to drive in three runs to give Williams a 9-8 lead and scored an insurance run to push the Ephs’ lead 10-8 in the bottom of the eighth. In the opening game of the series against Colby, he hit a two-run single to give Williams a 2-0 lead in the first inning and drove in another run in the bottom of the third to give the Ephs a lead they would not relinquish on the way to a 6-3 victory.

In a 6-1 week for the Ephs Mapes hit .346 with three home runs, six RBIs, and six runs scored. In a three-game sweep of Hamilton to open conference play, she went 5-for-11 (.455) with three home runs, three RBIs, and four runs scored. In a 4-3 win over the Continentals, she tied the game with a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth, then won the game with a second solo home run with two outs in the bottom of the eighth. In the second game of the doubleheader, added an RBI and threw a complete-game five-hitter in a 4-2 victory. She had at least one hit in the final five games of the week and a slugging percentage of .692 for the week while going 1-0 in the circle.
