Michaela Giuttari, Hamilton Field Hockey Player of the Week

Giuttari posted three goals and an assist for seven points in two wins last week. She scored twice at Amherst, including the game-winner 8:05 into overtime of the Continentals’ 4-3 victory. That goal was the 46th of her Hamilton career and moved her into second place on the program’s all-time list. Giuttari added a goal and an assist in a 4-0 triumph over William Smith.

 


Ben Manoogian, Connecticut College Men's Soccer Player of the Week

Manoogian helped the Camels remain undefeated by tallying both game-winning goals in a pair of 2-0 victories over Eastern Connecticut and Bates, after entering the week without a goal this season. Connecticut College has outscored its opponents by a 23-1 margin. The only goal the Camels have surrendered came on a penalty kick against Endicott on Sept. 11.

 


Emily Bowers, Tufts Women's Soccer Player of the Week

Bowers made a season-high 12 saves in a 0-0 double-overtime tie with unbeaten Middlebury. It was her seventh shutout of the year. She ranks third in total saves in the conference with 46.

 


Caroline Flaharty, Bowdoin Volleyball Player of the Week

Junior • OH/RS • Fort Myers, Fla.

Flaharty averaged 4.4 kills, 3.4 digs per set, and posted a .429 hitting percentage, while also recording five service aces in a 3-0 week for the Polar Bears. She recorded a double-double against Salem State (13 kills, 11 digs), had a strong showing against Trinity (11 kills, 8 digs, 3 aces), and posted a season-best 20 kills and 15 digs, with a .381 hitting percentage in a key conference win over Amherst. 

 


T.J. Dozier, Williams Football Offensive Player of the Week

T.J. Dozier
Williams College 
Sophomore • Running Back • Gaithersburg, Md.

Dozier carried the ball 12 times in a 31-7 win over Bates, gaining 151 yards and scoring two touchdowns, while averaging 12.6 yards per rush. His two touchdowns of 35 and 75 yards, the latter a career-high dash, helped break open the game for the Ephs in the fourth quarter. Dozier leads the conference with 493 yards on the ground after four games.

 


Andrew Yamin, Amherst Football Defensive Player of the Week

Senior • Linebacker • Cheshire, Conn.

Yamin led the Mammoths defense in the shutout over Middlebury. He made a team-high 11 tackles and racked up 3.5 sacks for 22 yards as the Mammoths earned their first win over the Panthers since 2015.

 


Colin Beaulieu, Trinity Football Special Teams Player of the Week

Beaulieu returned a punt 74 yards for a touchdown to give Trinity a 10-0 lead late in the first quarter in a win over Hamilton. He also returned another punt for 17 yards.
