JoAnn Jee, Trinity College
JoAnn Jee, a biochemistry major from Kuching, Malaysia, was a two-year captain for the Trinity squash team, helping the Bantams win the NESCAC Championship in every year of her career. Jee was selected as an All-American in 2007 and 2008. In 2009 and 2010, Jee was selected to the All-NESCAC Team and the NESCAC All-Academic Team, and in 2008, 2009, and 2010, Jee was selected to the NESCAC All- Sportsmanship Team. Jee finished her senior year 17-6, finishing a fine career with a 63-20 record, which ranks her No. 2 all-time at Trinity in wins.
Jee has put up equally impressive stats in the classroom earning faculty honors in the fall of 2006, spring of 2008, and fall of 2009. In addition, Jee served as a supplementary instructor in the Trinity chemistry department, and as a research assistant in both the chemistry and biology departments. Jee, a Resident Assistant for four years at Trinity and a student assistant in the Watkinson Library for three, was awarded with the prestigious American Chemical Society Award for Biochemistry for her achievements in the sciences.
