Spencer Noon

Leading the conference in scoring for three consecutive seasons, Spencer Noon finished his career as the Amherst men’s soccer program’s most prolific striker.

The all-time points leader (117), Noon also owns the goals record (49), factoring into the scoring in 14 of his team’s 20 games as a senior, while helping to lead the Jeffs to an unblemished 17-0-3 record. The NESCAC Player of the Year and ECAC New England Offensive Player of the Year in 2011, he racked up 35 points on 15 goals and five assists, before tallying 34 points (14 G, 6 A) a year ago.

Netting his first career hat-trick in the 2012 opener against Colby-Sawyer, he closed out his tenure with nine career multi-goal games to his credit, and became the first person in school history to surpass the 100-point plateau with a two-score effort against Trinity on Oct. 9.

A two-time All-NESCAC first teamer, Noon was named to the NSCAA All-Region first team on three occasions, while also garnering first team All-America recognition from the organization as a senior.

Excelling off the pitch, Noon also earned praise for his work in the classroom, earning a spot on the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-America second team in 2013 to go along with several Academic All-District and All-NESCAC Academic selections.
