Ajani Santos, Men's Basketball, Hamilton College
Ajani Santos was a four-year letter winner for the Hamilton men's basketball team. Ajani finished his collegiate career with 543 points in 90 games, including 47 starts. He added 334 rebounds and 80 blocked shots as he averaged 18.4 minutes per game. Ajani's finest season was his junior year when he started 23 games, shot better than 80 percent at the free throw line and averaged 10.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.7 blocks and 1.3 steals per game. On Feb. 6, 2016, Ajani saved one of his best games as a Continental for last as he poured in a career-high 25 points in 28 minutes on 11 of 18 shooting from the field. He also made all three of his free throw attempts.
Off the court, Ajani volunteered at Clinton Elementary School and was involved in Special Olympics, the Oneida County Youth Intergenerational Clean-ups, Study Buddies Basketball Clinics and Hamilton vs. Hunger. He also studied abroad in China during the summer of 2014.
