Hannah Robinson, Women's Soccer, Middlebury College
Hannah Robinson is a 2016 graduate of Middlebury College and a former member of the Panther women’s soccer team. For her work both on the field and in the classroom, the Davidson, North Carolina native earned numerous athletic and academic honors.
A National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) third-team Scholar All-American with a 3.65 grade point average, Robinson became the third women's soccer player to achieve the academic honor given out by the coaches' organization since the program was started in 1997. She was also named to the NESCAC All-Academic three times during her career. Robinson graduated magna cum laude with a degree in film and media culture, captaining the Panthers to a 7-5-5 mark in 2015 with a trip to the NESCAC semifinals.
Robinson capped off her career on the playing field in style, recording her second-straight NSCAA all-region honor. The midfielder moved up to the first team following a fourth-team selection as a junior. In 2015, Robinson added another accolade to her resume, becoming the fourth player in Middlebury history to be named the NESCAC’s Player of the Year.
Serving as a team captain for the second-straight fall, Robinson produced two goals and tallied four assists last season, ranking fourth on the team with eight points. During her career, Robinson played in all 73 matches at Middlebury with 60 starts, scoring 10 goals to go along with 13 assists for 33 points. She was also a member of the 2013 Panther team that posted a 17-2-3 record and advanced to the NCAA Semifinals in San Antonio, Texas.
