    Tufts junior Mason Pulde and Williams senior Jake Tamposi have been named to the 2016 CoSIDA Academic All-America Men’s At-Large Teams.
  • Jamie Dumont Named Head Men's Ice Hockey Coach at Bowdoin

    The Bowdoin College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of Jamie Dumont as the ninth head coach of the Polar Bear men's ice hockey program. A native of Lewiston, Maine, Dumont has served as the assistant coach for the team since 2011. He becomes the ninth coach in the 93-year history of the program and just the third head coach since 1959.

    Williams senior Zander Masucci and Trinity junior Sean Orlando have been honored as 2016 CCM All-Americans. Masucci was named to the East First Team, while Orlando was chosen for the East Third Team.

    The Williams men's ice hockey team (19-6-2) fell to SUNY Geneseo (20-4-6), 2-1, tonight at Ira S. Wilson Arena. Geneseo got out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, and Colby Cretella scored the lone Williams goal in the third.

  • NCAA First Round: Williams Moves on Following 7-1 Win Over Salem State

    The Williams Ephs (19-5-2) defeated the Salem State Vikings (22-6-0), 7-1, tonight at the Lansing Chapman Rink to advance to the next round of the NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Tournament. The Ephs had six different goal scorers, while George Hunkele had two goals on the night.

    Second-seeded Trinity will host the final rounds of the 2016 NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Championship this weekend at Williams Rink in the Koeppel Community Sports Center in Hartford, Conn. Action gets underway on Saturday, March 5 when fifth-seeded Middlebury takes on sixth-seeded Amherst at 1 p.m. followed by eighth-seeded Tufts squaring off against host Trinity at 4:30 p.m.

The Ephs are in pursuit of their elusive first conference crown when quarterfinal round action commences on Saturday, February 27. Trinity, Bowdoin and Hamilton also earned the right to host quarterfinal contests. The highest remaining seed following the weekend will host both semifinals and the final from March 5-6.
