Williams and Trinity to Battle For Men's Squash Championship

HARTFORD, Conn. - For the seventh year in a row, Trinity and Williams will meet in the finals of the NESCAC Men's Squash Championship. The two teams will meet tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. after advancing through their preliminary round matches today.

Trinity cruised to 9-0 victories over eighth seeded Hamilton and fourth seeded Middlebury to improve to 13-0 on the year. The top seeded Bantams will carry a 155-match home winning streak into the finals. They defeated the Ephs 9-0 on December 1.

Middlebury reached the semifinals for the third year in a row by virtue of its 8-1 triumph over Bowdoin in today's quarterfinals.

On the other side of the bracket, second seeded Williams blanked seventh seeded Amherst 9-0, and third seeded Bates topped sixth seeded Wesleyan 7-2.

The Ephs went on to defeat Bates 6-3 in the semifinals in the final match of the evening.
