CLINTON, N.Y. - The NESCAC Women’s Squash Championship wrapped up Sunday at Hamilton College’s Little Squash Center with top-seeded Trinity College easily winning its eighth consecutive title. The top-seeded Bantams shut out second-seeded Bates 9-0 in the final.
Trinity posted a pair of 9-0 victories to reach the final, blanking eighth-seeded Wesleyan in the quarterfinal round and shutting out fifth-seeded Middlebury in the semifinals.
The Bobcats recorded the program’s highest finish after rolling to a 7-2 win over third-seeded Williams in the semifinals. Bates advanced to the semifinal round by knocking off seventh-seeded Bowdoin in Saturday morning’s quarterfinals.
Sunday’s schedule featured three other matches: seventh-seeded Bowdoin defeated eighth-seeded Wesleyan in the seventh-place match, fourth-seeded host Hamilton matched the program’s highest finish by edging sixth-seeded Amherst 5-4 for fifth place and fifth-seeded Middlebury beat third-seeded Williams 5-4 to take third place. The Panthers and Ephs had combined for every second-place finish in the first seven tournaments.

Fifth-place match: Hamilton defeated Amherst, 5-4
Seventh-place match: Bowdoin defeated Wesleyan, 7-2
