Men's Track Performer of the Week
Ben Scheetz, Amherst
(Junior - Lancaster, Pa.)
Scheetz set the program record in the 800-meter run on Friday at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton, posting a time of 1:48.71. He followed on Saturday by winning the 200-meter dash in 22.52 seconds and the 4x400-meter relay in 3:22.79 at the Little Three championships.
   
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Ethan Waldman, Bates
(Senior - Playa del Rey, Calif.)
Waldman was fourth in the hammer throw (46.96 meters) and third in both the shot put (14.67) and discus (38.48) as the Bobcats won the Maine State Meet on Saturday.
   
Women's Track Performer of the Week

Juliet Ryan-Davis, Middlebury
(Sophomore - Newton, Mass.)
Ryan-Davis recorded a time of 2:12.99 in the 800-meter run at the Larry Ellis Invitational hosted by Princeton over the weekend.
   
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Kelly Allen, Tufts
(Sophomore - Norton, Mass.)
Allen was sixth in a field of 28 in the hammer throw with a toss of 49.92 meters. The toss broke the program record, which she set earlier this season at Westfield St. She was also seventh out of 24 in the discus with a throw of 42.25 meters.

Men's Track Performer of the Week
Matt Sullivan, Williams
(Senior - North Andover, Mass.)
Sullivan took second place in the 400-meter hurdles at the Brown Invitational last week, completing the event in 55.43. He also participated on the Ephs’ 4x100-meter relay team, which finished fourth overall at the meet.
   
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Chris Murtagh, Bates
(Senior - Rowley, Mass.)
Murtagh won the hammer throw at the Colby Invitational over the weekend with a toss of 59.84 meters. He also placed second in the discus with a throw of 49.02 meters.
   
Women's Track Performer of the Week

Amy Wilfert, Tufts
(Senior - Westborough, Mass.)
Wilfert won the 5,000-meter run at the MIT Invitational last week, posting a time of 17:38.31.
   
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Amina Avril, Williams
(First Year - Decatur, Ga.)
Avri was third among collegiate performers in the hammer throw at the Brown Invitational on Saturday. Avri’s best toss went for a distance of 49.31 meters.

Men's Track Performer of the Week
Jack Davies, Middlebury
(Sophomore - Grosse Point, Mich.)
Davies won the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Springfield Invitational on Saturday. Davies finished the race in 9:21.44.
   
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Trent Wiseman, Colby
(Sophomore - Tampa, Fla.)
Wiseman won the pole vault with a mark of 4.75 meters during a four-team meet at Bates on Saturday.
   
Women's Track Performer of the Week

Jana Hieber, Tufts
(First Year - Goffstown, N.H.)
Hieber won the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:03.73 at the UMass Lowell Invitational over the weekend.
   
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Tansia Hoffler, Williams
(Sophomore - Cheshire, Conn.)
Hoffler won the triple jump with a distance of 12.04 meters at the UMass Amherst Invitational over the weekend. She also placed fourth in the long jump with a performance of 5.31 meters.

Men's Track Performer of the Week
Charlie Lang, Wesleyan
(Senior - Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Lang finished 14th in the 10,000-meter run at the Sam Howell Invitational on Friday at Princeton. He posted a time of 30:57.67.
   
Men's Field Performer of the Week
David Pless, Bates
(Sophomore - Atlanta, Ga.)
Pless placed first in the shot put and the discus throw during a dual meet with the University of Maine on Sunday. He had a throw of 15.95 meters in the shot put and achieved a distance of 45.77 meters in the discus. Pless was also fourth in the hammer (48.25 meters). He won the NCAA indoor shot put title back in March.
   
Women's Track Performer of the Week

Margo Cramer, Middlebury
(Junior - Seattle, Wash.)
Cramer finished first among 21 runners in the 1,500-meter run at the Mangrum Invitational at Cal State San Marcos on Saturday afternoon. She completed the race in a time of 4:38.05.
   
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Sara Ellen Godek, Bates
(Senior - Gilford, N.H.)
Godek turned in a first place performance in both the hammer throw (46.50 meters) and the shot put (12.26 meters) at the University of Maine Invitational over the weekend. She was also second in the discus with a toss of 30.76 meters.

Michael Schmidt, Middlebury
(Junior - Wilmette, Ill.)
Schmidt had a time of 30:38.15 in the 10,000-meter event at the Stanford Invitational over the weekend, finishing 35th in section two of the event.
   
Men's Field Performer of the Week

Stephen Simalchik, Williams
(Sophomore - Danbury, Conn.)
Simalchik placed first in the javelin at the Univ. of California-Fullerton Twilight Meet last week with a throw of 62.01 meters.
   
Women's Track Performer of the Week

Annie Dear, Williams
(Sophomore - Olympia, Wash.)
Dear was the top Division III participant in the 1,500-meter run at the Univ. of California-Fullerton Twilight Meet last week. Dear’s time of 4:32.57 placed her second overall among the field.
   
Women's Field Performer of the Week

Danielle Sheppard, Colby
(Senior - Kittery, Maine)
Sheppard took first place in the high jump at the Point Loma Invitational in San Diego, Calif. Her jump of 1.70 meters not only won the event but also tied the program record.
