2018-19 Women's Basketball Players of the Week

Davis scored 22 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, on 7-for-15 shooting and was 8-for-10 from the foul line as No. 5 Middlebury defeated No. 4 Trinity, 75-71, in a NESCAC Quarterfinal contest. Davis also grabbed eight rebounds to go with three steals and dished out a pair of assists. The Panthers are in the NESCAC Semifinals for the first time since 2013.

Knapp averaged 19.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game last week. She began the week with 25 points against Babson, which was her second-highest scoring output of the season. She shot an efficient 10-for-14 from the floor and connected on three 3-pointers against the Beavers. She followed up with a team-high 13 points in the Jumbos’ 60-48 win over Trinity and grabbed four rebounds and collected three steals against the Bantams.

Kabari scored a career-high 28 points and added five rebounds, five assists, three steals, and a block in an 80-76 win over Wesleyan. In a 64-54 victory at Connecticut College, she had 16 points, 13 boards, five assists, five steals, and two blocks. Kabari finished 17-for-31 (54.8%) from the field in the two wins and averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 4.0 steals, and 1.5 blocks.

Roy led Bowdoin to a pair of NESCAC wins, including a 65-56 victory over Amherst. The point guard averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.5 steals in the two games. She posted 13 points, six boards and five assists against the Mammoths, including a 3-pointer with 1:30 remaining to give Bowdoin a six-point lead it would never relinquish. For the week, Roy hit on 50 percent of her shots.

Ryan averaged 21.5 points and 11.0 rebounds and shot 58.6 percent from the floor and 50 percent from 3-point range in a 2-0 week for the Cardinals. In a 72-65 win at New Jersey City, Ryan scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. In a 68-60 win over Connecticut College, she dropped 23 points while shooting 10-of-14 from the floor and 3-of-6 from behind the arc. She also secured 12 boards, recorded five steals, and dished out three assists against the Camels.

Eck shot 73.1 percent from the field (19-for-26) and averaged 20.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in two Amherst wins. Eck set a new career-high with 31 points in a 62-44 win over Wesleyan and recorded her first career double-double with 12 rebounds.

Hasson averaged 23.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and shot 76.0 percent (19-for-25) from the field in a pair of wins for the Polar Bears. Hasson scored 25 points and grabbed 10 boards against Bates on Friday and totaled a game-high 21 points with seven rebounds, hitting on 9-of-11 shots from the field, at Tufts on Saturday.

Fox broke a program record and the D3Hoops.com Classic single-game scoring mark with 43 points against Westfield State at the D3Hoops.com Classic in Las Vegas. She also set a new single-game school record for made field goals, going 19-for-25 from the field. Fox added 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double. In four games on the West Coast road trip, she averaged 21.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.3 steals per game.

Knapp averaged 20.0 points per game and shot 70.8 percent from the field to lead the Jumbos to two wins last week. She posted a 14-point, six-rebound effort in an 80-42 win over Bridgewater State and followed up with a career-high 26 points and five assists in a win over the University of New England. Knapp also handed out 5.5 assists per game for the Jumbos.

Fox averaged 21.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 2.3 steals and was 7-for-11 from 3-point range in three road wins. She netted a game-high 33 points versus Emmanuel and posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds against Brooklyn. She closed the week with 18 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals and four blocks at New Jersey City.

Serbent averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in two wins. She posted a double-double with 21 points and a career-high 14 rebounds and added three steals in a 68-62 victory at SUNY Potsdam. Serbent chipped in 10 points in 13 minutes in the first half in a 91-69 triumph at SUNY Polytechnic.

Berger averaged 20.0 points, 15.0 rebounds, and 3.5 blocks to open the season for the Cardinals. In the team’s season-opener, she netted 22 points on 6-of-11 shooting, while grabbing 16 boards and blocking three shots against Cabrini. She added 18 points, pulled in 14 boards, dished out four assists, blocked four shots, and recorded two steals in an 82-59 win over Swarthmore.
