HOUSTON, Texas - The Williams women's golf team stands in third place on the team leaderboard following the second round at the NCAA Division III Championship at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas. NYU (302) leads the team competition and is followed by Methodist (614) and the Ephs (615).
The Ephs shaved three strokes off their Day 1 total of 309, finishing the second round with a team score of 306. Joanna Kim led Williams on the second day of competition, posting a score of 74, which was highlighted by an eagle on the par 4 17th hole. She is tied for 11th among the individual leaderboard following rounds of 78 and 74 (152). Cordelia Chan added a 75 on to match her opening round score and is tied for fourth overall (150). Stella Woo finished her round with a 79 and was followed by Holly Davenport (78) and Olivia White (82).
Middlebury's Chloe Levins, playing as an individual, is tied for 21st after knocking two strokes off her Day 1 score and finishing the second round with a 76 (78-76-154). Levins moved up eight places from her Day 1 standing. Three players are tied for the lead with totals of 149.
Williams will tee off at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday and play with NYU and Methodist. Levins will begin her third round at 2:10 p.m.
