Pair of NESCAC Women's Golfers Earn All-America Honors

HOUSTON, Texas - Middlebury junior Chloe Levins and Williams senior Cordelia Chan were selected as All-Americans by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. The duo received the honor at a banquet on Wednesday night following the second day of competition at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship in Houston, Texas.


Chan was named a First Team All-American and earns All-America honors for the fourth time in her career. The 2017 NESCAC Player of the Year and 2015 NESCAC Rookie of the Year, Chan is a three-time All-NESCAC First Team performer. Chan this fall she won the Mount Holyoke Invitational with a 75 and a school-record round of 67 (142). She was runner-up at the NESCAC Championship (74-82-156), helping the Ephs win their fourth straight NESCAC title. Chan and the Ephs begin the third round of the NCAA Championship in third and two shots back of NYU in the team standings.

Levins was named the 2018 NESCAC Player of the Year as voted on by the league's coaches and earned Third Team All-America honors. She also earned her third consecutive All-NESCAC accolade, after being named to the First Team in 2016 and the Second Team in 2017. She was the medalist at the NESCAC Championship, shooting back-to-back rounds of 76 for a two-day score of 152.  She is playing in the NCAA Championship as an individual and enters the third round tied for 21st.
