2019 NESCAC Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

TenBarge had 16 goals over three games for the Ephs last week. Williams went 2-0 in conference play with wins over Hamilton (13-10) and Colby (15-12). Against Colby, TenBarge had six goals, 12 draw controls, two ground balls, and a caused turnover. In the win over Hamilton, she scored three times, had seven draw controls, recorded two ground balls, and caused one turnover. In a loss to Skidmore, TenBarge scored seven of the Ephs’ 11 goals. She finished the week with 16 points, 23 draw controls, nine ground balls, and five caused turnovers.

Games netted 10 goals, won five draw controls, and dished out three assists to notch 13 points in a 3-0 week for the Jumbos. Games tallied four goals, an assist, and three draw controls in a 21-13 win over Williams. She followed up with three goals and two assists in a 17-10 win over Wesleyan, going 3-for-4 on free position shots. She added three goals and caused three turnovers in a 24-10 victory over Babson.

Denious scored seven goals, including four in the final 11:03, to lead the Polar Bears from a three-goal deficit to a 17-15 victory over Trinity. She also had six draw controls and two caused turnovers in the victory. Denious has totaled 16 goals, three assists and 10 draw controls in the last three games for Bowdoin.

Adamec netted seven goals, dished out two assists, and collected four draw controls in three games. She tallied a hat trick in an 8-7 victory over TCNJ, and won two draw controls. Adamec recorded four points with two goals and two assists in the Jumbos 12-6 win over Trinity. She added two goals in a 17-5 non-conference victory against Endicott, finishing the week with nine points.

Pooley posted three goals, an assist, five draw controls, five caused turnovers, and a career-high six ground balls in a 14-13 win over Bowdoin. She recorded her 100th career point on a goal with 12:40 left in the second half and assisted on the goal that put the Continentals ahead 14-12 with 1:37 remaining.

Scribano had a .645 save percentage in two wins. She stopped 19 shots and had three free-position shot saves in the final 6:07 of a 14-10 win over Hamilton. After the Continentals took a 9-8 lead with 16:13 to play, Scribano made six saves as the Mules went on a 6-1 scoring run. The Continentals outshot Colby, 29-21. Scribano leads the NESCAC in conference save percentage (.712) while opponents are 7-for-24 (29%) on free-position attempts. Scribano also leads the league in overall save percentage (.704) and total saves (38).

Statile recorded a career-high 20 saves, including 14 in the second half and made three stops in the final 1:24 to allow Bates to net the equalizer and force overtime in an 11-10 victory at Middlebury. Bates scored six of the last seven goals of the game and Statile had nine ground balls in the win, which was the Bobcats' first victory over the Panthers since 2010. She had 25 saves on the week and a 69.4 save percentage.
