2018 Cross Country Performers of the Week

Brossy finished second at the Connecticut College Invitational. He posted a time of 24:54.6 over the 8K course to lead the Mammoths to a win in the men’s race.
Natalie Bettez, Tufts Natalie Bettez
Tufts University
Senior • Bolton, Mass.

Bettez placed third at the Connecticut College Invitational with time of 21:23.2 over the 6K course.  The Jumbos placed third as a team.

Senior • South Burlington, Vt.

MacDonald led the Polar Bears to their first Maine State Championship title since 2013, completing the 8K course in a time of 25:11.2 to finish first.
Grace Heller, Hamilton Grace Heller
Hamilton College
Senior • Ridgefield, Conn.

Heller posted a personal-best 5K time of 17:52.8 to finish third out of 192 runners at the RPI Saratoga Invitational. Heller finished 2.8 seconds behind the race winner.

Aschale placed third among 208 runners at the Purple Valley Classic, covering the 8K course in a time of 25:55.8 to lead the Camels to a sixth-place finish
Natalie Bettez

Bettez finished first overall at the Purple Valley Classic, clocking a 6K time of 22:06.9. She led the Jumbos to a third-place finish.

Ryan won the individual title at the Little Three Championships at Amherst. He posted a time of 19:28.0 over the 6K course.

Senior • Bellevue, Wash.

Mitchell earned a first-place finish at the Little Three Championships, hosted by Amherst. She completed the 4K course in a time of 15:33.9.
